that in view of the important and delicate duties entrusted to

Sanitary Inspectors the Board incurred a grave responsibility

in refraining from recommending his removal from the Public

Service. On the first occasion on which he was treated for

alcoholism Mr. McMichael was reprimanded and warned; on a

repetition of the offence I decided to deal with the matter

in Executive Council with a view to his suspension.
